I’m a deeply passionate expert who has been treating pregnant woman since 2005. I took specialist massage training for pregnant women.
My pregnancy treatments are effective. I understand the physiological changes that pregnant women experience, and know exactly how to relieve both physical and emotional stress.
I have successfully treated pelvic pain, lower back pain, puffy feet, headaches, general aches and pains as well as insomnia during pregnancy.
Labour pain can also be significantly relieved with the Maga Therapy approach. Listen to what Sarah said about her sessions with me.
“One of the best massages I have ever had, and I have had a lot! I currently see Dawn every two weeks for pregnancy massage and she is such a highly skilled practitioner, a wise and compassionate facilitator and amazing support to have during this time.”

Your massage session is tailored to your needs, therefore there is no typical session. That being said, there are specific areas (reflex points) on your hands, wrists, ankles and feet which are avoided until the late stages of pregnancy (after 39 weeks).
You can have a massage as often as you like during your pregnancy, provided that you are well and enjoying an uncomplicated pregnancy.
In the early stages of pregnancy, you can lie on your stomach. However, once you have reached your second trimester you will be treated whilst lying on your side, bolstered with memory foam cushions and supports which maintain your comfort and safety throughout your massage session.
Yes. There are two main reasons – types of massage oil to be used and areas not to treat. The use of essential oils is avoided, purely because of the chemical composition and the effect, if any, there could be on your developing baby. That being said, mandarin oil could be used as it is deemed to be the safest. Grapeseed (base massage oil) is used as it is deemed hypoallergenic, and therefore the safest. I do not massage the abdomen, nor the reflex points associated with the uterus and pelvic areas.
Yes. Getting a neck and shoulder massage will address your existing stress; aches, tensions, headaches and pain. If your pregnancy is high-risk always check with your midwife or doctor before booking.
You can have a prenatal massage as often as you wish. Pregnancy massage relieves stress, back, muscle and joint pain as well as cramps, sciatica and headaches. Pregnancy massage is a great alternative to pain medications which are limited due to pregnancy. If you are having a difficult pregnancy: experiencing back pain, difficulty sleeping, leg cramps and/or swelling I recommend coming in once a week during your last trimester.
Relieve tension, aches and pains by focusing on the deeper layers of your muscles and connective tissue.
