Pregnancy Reflexology. Pre-Conception To Birth (Inc Labour)

Pregnancy reflexology is specifically tailored to treat women at any stage from pre-conception to birth including labour, and even their babies. In the case of conception issues I combine reflexology with a conversation to treat both physical and emotional issues, this combination also proves invaluable for any fears or worries around your pregnancy or labour.

Maga Pregnancy Note On Fertility Issues.

Reflexology encourages a deep relaxation which alleviates stress and tension so that conception may take place. Very occasionally I use EFT (Tapping) which works in the same way as acupuncture, however no needles are used, and once learned by the patient can be self-applied discreetly at any time, therefore is a perfect stress reduction tool.

How Does Reflexology Work?

Reflexology works on balancing all of the body systems to provide a healthy body for conception to take place. Gentle pressure to reflex points balances the hormonal system and stimulates the reproductive organs, and assists the feelings of deep relaxation.

Reassurance and relaxation are given to my clients during this sensitive time, as well as after the baby’s birth, has always proven invaluable as well as personal pleasure. Having had three children myself I know how daunting becoming a mum can be, more importantly, it’s worth remembering all pregnancies and births are very different. Reducing stress and taking time out is the kindest thing you can do for yourself as well as your baby.

How Has Reflexology Helped My Clients?

I have treated many pregnant women using reflexology to start labour, and indeed ‘speed it up’ Its calming relaxing effect reduces the stress of the ‘event’ which has been particularly useful to first-time mums.

Other women I have treated using reflexology have used the sessions effectively to discuss their fears of becoming a mum, and how they will cope. It is easy to wonder ‘will I be good enough ’or ‘will being a mum come naturally’ especially if you see others as ‘mother earth’ figures. It can seem daunting to say the least!

Everyone who has had pregnancy reflexology has noted that they slept extremely well the following night. Reflexology is a must for late pregnancy when sleeping problems or even insomnia kicks in!
